This jovial documentary showcases how people have related to their animals in this case its Cats. Being in an extraordinary time of the COVID pandemic, world wide people have turned to animals to help them get through their different situations. Possibly establishing more connection to their own pets or animals in nature. Some of the participants/ talent; in the film are connected by different groups and organisations, the participants do not necessarily know each other but the one common thread is their love of animals and in particular Cats, either through being creative with their love of painting or drawing Cats or simply just connecting with others by, just visiting with the neighbours cats. Feeling part of a community in a time, where we are all so disconnected and possibly even lonely. Animals have helped us so much and, in this film, so have Cats. So we arrive at Covid Cats. There has been much research conducted during COVID showing that animals reduce stress, anxiety & in some cases increase our fitness. Out of the human need to connect and feel love and give love is where the story shines. This is a film that shows a group of individuals and their own unique special relationships with Cats. This film was made with love for The Rotary Club Caulfield. Thank you to Glen Eria City Council Glen Eira Artist Society Made by. Louise Chen Photography in 2021.
